PART 2 - NATO’s angle with Turkey

 

The world yesterday was stunned by Turkey’s reckless move and of shooting down a Russian air force plane.   This was seen by Russia as a truly unadulterated example of provocation and in the words of Vladimir Putin, “a stab in the back by accomplices of terrorists."


The speed in which Turkey called for an ‘extraordinary’ NATO's decision-making body, the North Atlantic Council (NAC), on Tuesday evening is interesting; it was certainly done in haste.  By asking for this meeting, the Turkish authorities seemed to be trying to count on the support of NATO on the shooting down and to draw NATO into the Syrian conflict.

There are other ways of dealing with these kinds of incidents,” said one NATO diplomat who declined to be named. 

Nevertheless, NATO members clearly understood this for it was this worth and did not give into the Turkish statements.   The NATO response was certainly more muted than previous Russian-Turkish incidents in October of this year, where Ankara invoked NATO’s Article Four.



Back in October Turkey also called an emergency meeting after Russian planes violated its airspace several times following the start of Moscow’s air campaign in Syria. However, this time it did not invoke Article 4.  NATO’s Article Four outlines the situation under which a member declares that its territorial integrity, political independence or security is under threat.


There is a slight hint of a re-run of the Georgian conflict in 2008 in the air to this whole event, since it points at huge confidence, (read arrogance or spite?), by the Turkish authorities in escalating an air incident into a huge diplomatic crisis.  Erdogan presumably thought he could get away with only light repercussions. This would also explain why the Turks ran for cover in asking for the NATO meeting and in the swift release of a letter to the UN.

The enormity of the Turkish statement is in their letter: the SU-24 was in Turkey’s airspace for 17 seconds and only travelled through it for 1.15 miles. NATO’s statement suggests that it backs up this Turkish information without any quibbles.  Is NATO seriously expecting us to believe that 5 minutes is enough for the Turkish Prime Minister, to clear a pilot to fire his missile at a jet, through the chain of command?


The SU-24 incident highlights NATO’s propensity for skirting around the issue and dropping totally unsubstantiated pieces of information.  Here is a classic example; an extract from the rather vague statements expressed by the NATO Secretary General:

“The Allied assessments we have got from several Allies during the day are consistent with information we have been provided with from Turkey. So the information we have from other Allies is consistent with what we have got from Turkey.”

By ‘assessments’ & ‘information’, does he mean the US tracking facilities at the US air base in Turkey, or maybe the NATO warships in the Eastern Mediterranean or even the COAC tracking centre in Qatar?

NATO is sure tight-lipped when it comes to events that cause an international diplomatic stir.  But it is hardly surprising since Turkey is a long-standing NATO member since 1952, with a lot of US military investment to boot, so they can never put a feet wrong.

Turkey has recently & begrudgingly re-allowed the US to use İncirlik Air Base for limited US air force air strikes against ISIS.  (But only after Biden apologized for the remarks he made about Turkey’s involvement in supporting ISIS).  US aircraft deployed there include A 10 Warthogs and soon Electronic Warfare EA-18 Growler aircraft.

The relations between Moscow and Ankara became visibly tense in October when Russian air force planes flew through Turkish airspace.   This led to Erdogan warning Russia on the building of a nuclear station & Russian gas imports, “We are Russia's number one natural gas consumer. Losing Turkey would be a serious loss for Russia. If necessary, Turkey can get its natural gas from many different places." Erdogan was clearly agitated and said  “We can't accept the current situation. Russia's explanations on the air space violations are not convincing."

NATO also got involved in the October’s incident and NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg stated that: "NATO is ready and able to defend all allies, including Turkey against any threats," he said. "NATO has already responded by increasing our capacity, our ability, our preparedness to deploy forces including to the south, including in Turkey." He also expressed ‘reasons for concern’ at Russia’s use of cruise missiles in Syria. This comes from a head of an organization that with impunity bombed Serbia in 1999 and then Libya in 2011, with 3,000 targets struck in 14,202 strike sorties.

 

Spanish Patriot Unit in Turkey

NATO forces on the ground in southern Turkey consist principally of air defence units. German Patriot defense systems were positioned on the Syrian- Turkish until the beginning of the Russian air campaign, thus leaving  a Spanish patriot battery in southern Turkey holding the NATO line.  There was an US Patriot defense system remaining at Incirlik as well but it appears to be pulled out of service, although the stated end date is 1 January 2016.

Davutoglu's comments on ISIS

Turkey has shown by shooting down the Russian jet that its priorities are more towards scuttling any tangible anti-ISIS alliance. Turkey has shown persistent ambivalent attitude towards IS, as highlighted by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu's comments. It is remarkable how Turkey has not only put NATO in a hard spot but also the US too. It is difficult to see how the Turkish were able to shoot down the Russian jet, without Washington in the know.  Their reaction to the shoot-down is really akin to insects scuttling for cover when the light is switched on.

Greece has experienced for decades hundreds of Turkish air force intrusions, despite the fact that they are both NATO members.  Greece, according to its Foreign Ministry, “especially comprehends provocative moves by Turkey given regular multiple violations of Greek air space by Ankara lasting for years.” Despite the huge spike in Turkish violations in 2014, NATO doesn’t batter an eyelid over this at all.  Everyone in Brussels knows that this take place and simply shrug their shoulders.


There is something odd to it all since not one major West mainstream media were able to recall and compare this latest event with what happened in June 2012 when a Turkish jet was shot down in Syria.  The MSM haven’t even seriously mentioned this, let alone discussed the event. Even back then, the Turkish military authorities proudly announced back in 2012 that they:

 "would have shot down 114 planes if every aircraft that violated a country's airspace were shot down without questioning."

This article was written in light of the shooting down of a Turkish jet by Syria. The article then continues to state that " a violation of one to two kilometers is accepted as "natural" given the speed of aircraft," drawing upon the statement released by the Turkish military.  How times have changed, for one Russian aircraft, for just 17 sec.   This information puts the whole  context for the SU-24 shoot-down into a much darker perspective.

Obama & Erdogan at G20 in Turkey

More lashings of double-standards all around please.  Obama said yesterday: "Turkey, like every country, has a right to defend its territory and its airspace," except for it seems Syria these days and Lebanon too.  So Obama seems to confirm the Turkish position. Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated that the shooting down was "fully in line with Turkey’s rules of engagement."  Sure, those which were created after the June 2012 incident in Syria, which included a segment of Syrian airspace as well as their own buffer space. All of which goes against international law, but once more NATO played dumb at that time.

A Turkish military group of 572 soldiers, 39 tanks  & 57 armoured vehicles went into Syria in February 2015 to move the Suleyman Shah shrine closer to the border. This is what the the Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu had to say about its incursion into Syrian sovereign territory:

 "We didn't get permission from anyone. The decision was taken, and the order was given, by the Turkish government".

Unfortunately for NATO, Erdogan has a nasty habit of falling out with ‘friendly’ countries.  Russia has just been added to the list:  Egypt, Israel, Iraq & Syria. Erdogan can also be seen to using NATO for his own purposes.  A hint of this became apparent when the US was negotiating for the use of the İncirlik Air Base.

Turkey also regularly bothers neighbouring states, whether NATO allies or neutral states.  Just compare the stated Turkish aggressive and outlandish position on airspace intrusions with those faced by Greece & Armenia.  Armenia was definitely nonplussed when a couple of Turkish military aircraft wandered into their airspace in October.   However, their indignation was limited to words only and not a missile. The Armenians raised this issue with NATO, through a letter:

“If NATO really values the inviolability of borders of its member states, it would be reasonable for the Alliance to serve an example and apologize for the incident, even if it has been caused by weather conditions. The incident is really an extraordinary and one, and I think NATO, of which Turkey is a member, should react to this case. The problem is that NATO is saddled with Turkey and more disturbingly, goes along with Erdogan’s often unilateral and knee-jerk policies. NATO's ambivalent attitude towards Turkey's scam in providing significant support for IS is becoming more apparent by the day.   It is almost a re-make of the Soviet Afghan invasion scenario, being played out in Syria, with this time the US & NATO lined up against Russia, Iran directly & through their own fighting unit proxies.It clearly show how the supposedly the main participants in an 'anti-IS' coalition are often at cross purposes with each other. Turkey has bombed the Kurds, whereas the US has at times provided the Kurds with air support. Likewise the Russians have bombed positions that neither the UK nor France would dare to. 

Prima facie evidence of the longstanding duplicitous activities of the US in the Syrian conflict, surfaced in a video of the destruction of a Russian helicopter sent out to rescue the pilot. The video show the rebels using a US TOW system to destroy the helicopter on the ground. These wouldn’t be one of handful of US-vetted rebels by any chance, would it?  It shows how such weapons can change hands easily and how difficult it would be to even contemplate separating out the “moderate rebels” from the “bad terrorists”.  Russia did not take the trouble to do so and retaliated against the Turkish-backed fighters in Syria.

The West continues to permanently dither on how to best tackle ISIS militarily, while Turkey is still afraid of losing its grip on its Syrian ‘rebel assets’ due to the ongoing Russian air strikes on their positions.

The Turkmen Sultan Abdulhamid Han Brigade and Sultan Murad Brigade deployed in the Turkman Mountain region and this is where the Russian air force was striking in the days prior to the shoot-down of the SU-24. The Russians subsequently intensified their air strikes in the area. The Turkemen units are linked up with Jabhat al-Nusra, an Al-Qaeda affiliate,  that also operate in the area, who have been effective at either co-opting, dominating or organising other groups within Syria.

The Washington& NATO elite mindset is still hell-bent on brow beating Russia, when the opportunity arises.  Here is a blatant example: “I think it’s important that the world doesn’t separate what the Russians are doing in Syria with the rest of their behavior,” said US Gen Hodges, NATO commander.

Turkey still has not backed down from their rigid viewpoint regarding the shooting down of the Russian jet.  The Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu reiterated: "The protection of our land borders, our airspace, is not only a right, it is a duty," he said. "We apologize for committing mistakes, not for doing our duty."

In public NATO backs Turkey to the hilt: “All Allies fully support Turkey’s right to defend its territorial integrity and its airspace”, from the NATO secretary General.  The UK & Germany are the latest to have joined in the bombing campaign in Syria.

This is disconcerting especially as there is a build-up of NATO air power taking place in southern Turkey.   Are the Turks and NATO inching their way towards setting up a "safe-zone" on the Syrian border? Or is the US-led coalition trying to nudge Russia slowly out of the way in northern Syria?

Relations between the West, Russia, Ukraine & the SCO being discussed on a Ukrainian TV programme in 2006. It’s very weird to see the now Ukraine president Petro Poroshenko & his nazi leader Oleh Tyahnybok together listening to an energetic Zhirinovsky... Surreal! Nearly a decade later, it is nevertheless very VERY relevant today to pick up on some of the points made on this TV show.

Zhirinovsky might be seen as a clown in Russian politics, but some of the points that he made were very perceptive. I do not condone or agree necessarily with the whole content, but the points made back in 2006 are astonishingly pertinent in a number of political areas, especially in understanding the geopolitical mindset & the lead up to events in 2014. It is a shame that Zhirinovsky’s bombastic comments about China & Russia & SCO nuclear might & invincibility, hinder what otherwise some valid & thought-provoking points.

 Zhirinovsky didn't mince his words about the possible future of Ukraine & NATO.

Notice at the beginning of the show, Zbigniew Brzezinski refers to Russia as a no-man's land between Europe & China. That should have been a serious warning alert to Russia, but who really paid notice to it then?

The unknown conflict zone

The legacy of both the 1999 Kosovo conflict & that of Macedonia still echo today.

Trafficking of illegal migrants is having a profound impact on several EU countries, notably Hungry.  In response, Hungarian authorities have stated they will construct an anti-migrant barrier, such to the disgust of Brussels.  It has been an increasing headache since the beginning of 2015.  To add to the woes, thousands of Kosovar & Macedonian Albanians have left in droves for EU countries. Just in February 2015, it was reported that “Some 10,000 Kosovars filed for asylum in Hungary in just one month this year, compared to 6,000 for the whole of 2013.” (http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/kosovo-thousands-illegal-migrants-try-enter-eu-via-serbia-hungary-1486929).   Austria received 1,901 asylum applications from Kosovo in 2014, but registered 1,029 in January 2015 alone.  In Germany, applications from Kosovars since January have rocketed up to 18,000. According to some media estimates, around 100,000 have left since August 2014, with a noticeable spike starting in January 2015.

Kosovo's Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci blamed human traffickers for spreading rumours that people could get asylum in EU countries. http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/03/03/us-kosovo-europe-idUSKBN0LZ1FW20150303 Yes, this is the same Thaci that according to a 2010 Council of Europe report, “Hashim Thaci and other Kosovo guerrillas, ran a criminal ring in 1999 that targeted Serbs, Romas and also ethnic Albanians.”  Even German intelligence sounded the alarm on Thaci, in a report that accuses Thaci of leading a "criminal network operating throughout Kosovo by the end of the 1990s”.  Maybe another tiny clue is in what the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, stated in April 2015, where he hinted at his displeasure at the slow process of EU talks for Albania & Kosovo. Moreover, he said that “the two countries will be forced to unite in a classical way”, if the EU path is blocked.  Did someone take this opportunity to play the migration card & open the floodgates & then realized too late the impact that it has on Kosovo? Funny  way of getting Brussel’s attention?

Maybe impatience with the EU at the political level is somehow linked to Kosovo citizens’ impatience with their broken political system, leaving on mass northwards.  Remember it is a political system planned & created by the US & EU; it is the ‘cherished’ example of the "Euro-Atlantic family".

“Aspects of security and lack thereof in Kosovo can easily leech through the porous borders of neighbouring countries and Europe certainly is not impervious.”  Written on March 23 2015, this became a reality in May, with events in Kumanovo, Macedonia. Albanian terrorists -  some from Kosovo tried to take over a village, but were eventually killed or arrested by armed police & military squads.  Incidentally, the attack took place while the Macedonian President, Gjorge Ivanov, was in Moscow, for the parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the defeat of the Nazis.   http://www.atlantic-community.org/-/kosovo-migrants-and-the-road-to-european-accession

“Diplomats fear political instability may harm Macedonia's fragile interethnic peace, barely 15 years after it narrowly avoided civil war during fighting between government forces and ethnic Albanian guerrillas.” VOA article dated April 2015 http://www.voanews.com/content/united-states-macedonia-alleged-abuses-power/2722813.html . Someone heeded this message & took steps to make sure that this became reality in May. 

The armed group belonged to the disbanded Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), with its deep roots in Kosovo.  Macedonia blamed Kosovo for the violence, http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-32680904  Radial Kosovar Albanian forces that have been dormant for 14 years, suddenly decided to re-active themselves but the reasons why & by who is not at all clear, apparently. The whole 28 hours was totally downplayed by the US & EU authorities, since the KLA, the original 90s version was the one that NATO supported by bombing Yugoslavia. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenbergs urged “everyone to exercise restraint and avoid any further escalation, in the interest of the country and the whole region.” Notice the language, “exercise restraint”?  This is just the latest in a long-running pattern, starting when the Albanians in Kosovo with help of NATO, US & EU broke off from Serbia.  Similarly, the Albanians in Macedonia tried to repeat this ‘trick’ & fought in 2001 to secede from Macedonia.   Essentially, the Albanians in the region are playing the waiting game to see if Kosovo gets a seat at the UN & EU.  An estimated 30 percent of Macedonia's population is Albanian.

The US has been quite vocal about the current Macedonian government, in fact on a visit to Macedonia in April,  Hoyt Yee, U.S. deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, stated that “there are also questions raised about the possibility of abuse of government power, which also need to be addressed.'' Furthermore, he said "possible official corruption, possible inappropriate government influence over the media, over the judiciary, possible electoral abuse and other abuses of power.'' Pity he couldn’t say the same thing about the current government in Kosovo.  Could this be a green light for those planning & developing the May protests, since oddly, the issues cited by the US envoy weren’t new but had been rumbling on in the background for several months.   Of course, Kosovo is part of the "Euro-Atlantic family", with the largest US / NATO base in Europe, camp Bondsteel, whereas Macedonia isn’t yet deemed to be considered as part of the family.

There’s a whole lucrative US -backed business to be had, creating ‘revolutions’, favorable to the US way of thinking.  Parts of which turned up in Macedonia, notably the NED. [For an idea of the NED in Macedonia - http://www.ned.org/where-we-work/central-and-eastern-europe/macedonia. ] So what was cooked up for Serbia in 2000, in the form of the ‘Bulldozer’ revolution, dropped by 15 years later into Macedonia. 

The timing of these events is remarkable, as it just happens to coincidence with the proposed plans for gas pipeline to go through the region.  The proposed extension is to connect up the “Turkish stream” gas pipeline, originating in Russia. The EU had successfully stopped South Stream and it is trying hard, along with the US, to create a cordon sanitaire, free of Russia influence in the region. To this end; the EU is trying its power to prevent the construction of the pipeline through Greece, Macedonia & Serbia to reduce energy dependence on Russia gas.  Even the US has been vocal on this with a political warning shot to these countries.  Take for example the case of Greece. “the State Department envoy, Amos J. Side note: Victoria Nuland, Asst. Sec. of State/Europe is going to Macedonia in July 2015.  Interesting times ahead since she was a fundamental part of the script to the Ukraine Maidan «color revolution».

The situation in Serbia

More seriously, once more the timing & scale of these events are not random. Intriguing events linked to the Balkans

Recently, Ramush Haradinaj was arrested at the airport in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Similarly, Naser Oric was arrested two weeks ago in Switzerland & will be extradited to Bosnia.  The timings of both these arrests are intriguing & could in certain instances increase potential strife in the region.

The wider connection - The EU, immigration & the Balkans corridor

There is no will in Brussels to neither address the issues of migration nor seriously tackle the security issues in the region.  Europeans have been being taught over decades, to renounce their origin, to renounce their national identity, in exchange for what?   Don’t be left in doubt that these huge upheavals in populations not any way planned, as even this UN video talks about how to prepare the world for important population changes.  Wonder why this is so? The EU is deeply involved in changing its indigenous population, to accommodate more & more migrants from the rest of the world; hence we have “Pan-European Corridor X” being exploited as an illegal migration route.  The desire to change the people of Europe through large-scale immigrant sits hand in hand with the need to dismantle nations. Is this a far-fetched statement? Well, no, look up the “Coudenhove-Kalergi Prize” http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_PRES-12-476_en.htm .  Herman von Rompuy accepted the prize in 2012 – on the theme "Peace and the European idea", where he mentioned the EU enlargement plans for the Western Balkans.  It was indeed interesting to discover who Coudenhove-Kalergi stood for, as he is widely cited as a as a pioneer of European integration. He published a manifesto entitled “Pan-Europa” but more controversial is his publication “Praktischer Idealismus”.   What has this got to do with the Macedonia situation?  The EU & the US are keen advocates for Kosovo, as a new European mini state.  The creation of Kosovo effectively broke the political back of Serbia but triggered ethnic violence in neighboring Macedonia.  The EU, US & NATO legacy in the region has left a bloody trail, which has been conveniently whitewashing for the sake of “EU integration”.

In fact, Brussels, despite a number of well-meaning speeches, has no serious intention to tackle the core security issues, especially in Kosovo. http://www.euronews.com/2015/05/27/eu-failed-to-lay-foundations-to-fight-corruption-in-kosovo/  Kosovo is deemed to be part of the EU fabric but there is no will to tackle the nasty criminal elements that latched on the highest levels of political power.  Any attempts to lift the carpet and reveal the murky nature of Kosovo, is quickly shut down.  An example of this is the case of the British EULEX whistleblower, Maria Bamieh, over allegations of corruption.  EULEX was created in 2009 to help Kosovo with access to EU integration.

The Guardian article cites “During Eulex’s six-year tenure, analysts in Pristina say, corruption and organized crime in the political system since independence in 2008 has worsened.” To think that this is does not have an impact on the ordinary people in Kosovo. The significant problem with all of this is that illegal migration is heavily assisted by criminal groups, nearly all of which are Albanian / Albanian Kosovar. This is the case in the Balkans where illegals have to pay a ‘fee’ or a ransom to be able to continue with their journey northwards.  Take this quote from a Channel 4 documentary: “High powered ethnic Albanian mafia – the sort of men who can take on the Macedonian state in open combat and could be relied on to violently protect their share in the profits from human traffic.” This UK programme dared to look into this - “lifted a lid on an operation that generates millions of euros a year for criminal networks” http://www.channel4.com/news/tracking-down-macedonias-migrant-kidnap-gang

Recent events has once more made Kosovo a key element & base in the US global struggle for control; to crush pro-Russian sentiment.  The US is no stranger to using brutal & very heavy handed methods to ensure compliance. What could be better than to undermine & overwhelm the political order in countries such as Macedonia & Serbia with illegal migrants & "gunmen" threatening energy projects?

Kosovo reads the script well, judging by Thaci's comments back in April:"The EU should not delay the accession and enlargement processes and integration of Kosovo and the region into the European Union, but also in NATO," He then added

 Je commence avec des infos de l’article de Russia Insider, mais j’ajoute quelques autres aussi. La banalisation des mensonges et des faits négatifs en Russie dans les medias occidentaux, est très parlant.

1. La Russie a un taux fixe d'impôt sur le revenu personnel de juste 13 %. Voyons qu’est que nous avions en France comme taux d'impôt?

2. Le secteur pétrolier et à gaz n'est pas "la moitié" de l'économie. En réalité, même en 2013, cela représenté que 35% du PIB. Il est généralement dit que "plus la moitié" de revenus russes d'état sont tiré de l'activité pétrolière et gaz. Faux.

 3. Malgré les mots d'Obama, Poutine ne cherche pas à reconstruire l'Union soviétique.  Il a dit « L'effondrement de l'URSS a été la plus grande catastrophe géopolitique du XXe siècle » et aussi « Ceux qui ne regrettent pas la disparition de l’URSS n’ont pas de cœur, mais ceux qui voudraient la refaire n’ont pas de tête. » En plus,  de dire que Poutine est un nouvel Hitler est surprenant et très mal vu en Russie.  Les russes se souviennent de l’invasion nazie du 22 juin 1941 et le fait que 25 millions de soviétiques sont morts pendant la 2eme guerre mondiale. Cette trauma n’est pas si effaçable dans la Russie.

4. Le président US Barack Obama a récemment dit : "la Russie ne fait rien. Les immigrants n'inondent pas à Moscou dans la recherche du travail. La population se réduit." Il a eu tort sur pas un, pas deux, mais sur tous les trois comptes.

Oui, l’espérance de vie chez les hommes, passée de 64 ans en 1990 à 57 ans en 1996. Mais la population de Russie  était 144 million en 2014, par rapport à 2013avec 143,5 million et en 2000 146 million. Depuis 2009, la population du pays augmente légèrement, notamment du fait de l'immigration et d'une hausse de la natalité. En 2015, la population russe avec celle de la Crimée est de 146 267 300 habitants. Parlant de l’immigration en Russie, la Russie est le deuxième pays au monde qui accueille le plus grand nombre d'immigrés (après les États-Unis !).

5. "la Russie ne fait rien », peut-être c’est pourquoi les entreprises spatiales US ont vraiment besoin des fusées russes et la NASA est obligée d’utiliser le Soyuz pour les déplacements de la ISS. Sans parler que la  Russie demeure le deuxième exportateur mondial d’armement, derrière les États-Unis !

Le vrai danger de ce genre de rhétorique à la sauce Etatsuniens et OTAN est dans les implications du récit qui le met parallèlement en avant.

1. Une doctrine de Poutine - très agressif;
2. Propagande du Kremlin qui sert d'intensifier les minorités russes dans des pays voisins;
3. l'utilisation d'une « guerre hybride », généralement définie comme un mélange de moyens conventionnels;
4. qui justifient les Russes d'avoir recours à la possibilité de nier de façon plausible les opérations de « guerre hybride ».

Context

As stated in the press, 600 paratroopers from the U.S. Army's 173rd Airborne Brigade will arrive in Ukraine to train the Ukrainian National Guard.  U.S. Army Europe Commander Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges said that the training location is Yavariv training center in Western Ukraine.  $19 million has been allocated by the US administration, from the Global Security Contingency Fund to help build up and train the Ukrainians.

The US military training of the Ukrainian National Guard units is really an example of the usual US-style "democracy building."The US is convinced that by training Kiev's Donbass "Anti-Terrorist Operation" shock troops will significantly help Ukraine to be more democratically empowered.

The Western media & US administration alike lavish a lot of attention on the entity called the National Guard, without revealing too much detail on the individuals units are supposedly part of it.  Nor do they discuss the ultra-nationalist nature or deeply entrenched fascist ideology of some of the units.  These "National Guard" willingly provide the backbone of the ATO forces,  where they routinely shell, kill & plunder civilians in the dissenting regions of Donetsk & Lugansk.   On the whole, western politcians, journalists & NGOs also pretend that there are very little human rights abuses taking place in Donbass.  It took Amnesty International well over 6 months before releasing a report critical of one of the units, the Aidar Batallion.

 We don’t need to go far back in history, to see similar examples of where truly brutal groups were financed & trained by the US. The KLA in Kosovo,   the vicious so-called moderate rebels in Syria, the 1970’s nasty death squads of Central & South America, trained at the School of Americas. Now the US is set to repeat this technique, to a selection of Ukrainians units part of the National Guard.

One significant participant in the ATO operations is Right Sector,  (Pravy Sektor or Правий сектор). From out of the chaos of Maidan, Right Sector activists helped to form their own ad-hoc paramilitary units, based on Territorial Defense Battalions such as the Donbass Battalion.  Subsequently these morphed into the National Guard in November 2014. Other Right Sector members formed part of paramilitary groups including Dnipro, Aidar.  They are purportedly all under the umbrella of the Interior Ministry & are considered as the National Guard. The only exception is Dmytro Yarosh’s own paramilitary unit.



Remember that the Right Sector is only an accredited political party since March 2014, under the leadership of leader Dmytro Yarosh, also a member of the Ukrainian parliament. So essentially the National Guard can be considered part of their military wing.  Politically, it didn’t do well in the 2014 elections, however historically it has had stronger support from their homeland in Western Ukraine, with Lviv part of its central core.  A tiny minor core of Western Ukrainians fanatics, with US backing,  helped to violently overthrow , (notice the black & red Right Sector insignia & flags), a democratically elected government, a year before the next general elections were due. These fanatics have openly stated that they don’t think much of the EU,  yet the EU politicans pretend that they represent "European values".

Dmytro Yarosh, received just under 1 percent of the vote in the 2014 general election. The main issue is not the very low voting turnout, which the pro Kiev junta trolls always point to as their proof of “there are no fascists” meme, but rather Right Sector’s ability to punch well above its weight within Ukrainian society.   The group's omnipresence has progressively filtered through Ukrainian politics & law enforcement.  They act as the enforcers of the Kiev regime, any dissent is met with violence and hate. They have labelled Russian speakers as ‘undesirables’ , worthy of not just targeted death threats but also actual killings.  The tragic events in Odessa & Mariupol bear witness to the brutality of both the combination of Right Sector activists & the National Guard.  Right Sector activists are with total impunity running a terror campaign throughout Ukraine.


Effectively, Right Sector & the National Guard are two sides of the same Ukrainian nationalist coin. This helps to explain why the regular Ukrainian army is being left out, despite the fact that it obviously also urgently needs training & equipment.  The regular army lacks the motivation & hardcore ideological cadre that would make it a tough fighting force.  Moreover, the National Guard is getting more than their “fair” share of modern military equipment. Moreover, there have been armed stand-offs between Right Sector activists & the army.

The Kiev government is totally unrepentant about the deployment of such units as part of its internal security forces.  Western media is also unrepentant as well, judging by the absolute or positive images chosen to describe the units.  Take the example of the Daily Mail: “The Donbass Battalion, a unit with Ukraine's National Guard engaged in battles around Lohvynove”.   This is the same unit, who help to block humanitarian aid from reaching Donbass & kidnap & kill civilians.

West Ukrainian Right Sector activists have gone on the rampage in central Kiev, demolished Russian banks, beaten up Russian speakers, dumped “lustrated” individuals into rubbish dumps.  They continually lash out hysterically at anyone who does not share their view on Ukraine & rant on about Russian aggression. In short, Right Sector is a group of hired thugs in the service of Kiev & Washington, who contributed to high levels of aggression & violence in Ukrainian society.  Yet when these same activists don the uniform of the National Guard, become in the eyes of the US administration an individual in a unit designed to “maintain rule of law” in Ukraine.

It is not surprising to have seen the US army deployed to Yavoriv Training Area, near to Lviv, back in September 2014. This was part of Exercise Rapid Trident, a major USAREUR multinational exercise.  What’s the difference between USAREUR & NATO?  Very little.  USAREUR will once more send a team of advisers to Western Ukraine in spring 2015, to train National Guard units. Why?  Well here is a quote from the Pentagon- “ it is part of a U.S. State Department effort to assist Ukraine in strengthening its law enforcement capabilities, conduct internal defense and maintain rule of law”. Please note the last item, “maintain rule of law”, in the hands of the Ukrainian National Guard, underpinned by Right Sector.  This is really just a very wafer thin veneer of  political correctness on the part of the US administration.

Unofficially, the U.S. & NATO are already training, out of the media spotlight, under the guise of "contractors” no doubt.    Elements of the National Guard 'combo' are also ideally suited in “asymmetrical warfare”, as behind the lines sabotage & infiltration irregular squads.

The US administration & Right Sector - Uncomfortable bedfellows maybe for them is it a marriage of convenience for not just the short- term but long term.  It has been the case since the end of the 2nd World War.

Immédiatement, selon des témoins, plusieurs choses se sont passées.

1. Des lignes énorme composé d'hommes en bonne santé, en essayant d'éviter la mobilisation, devant des cabinets médicaux et les hôpitaux.

2. Les ukrainiens se cachaient du projet tout au long de 2014, comme je l'ai écrit avant. Mais maintenant, le projet d'-en esquivant est en train de devenir une épidémie. Les gens se cachent dans les caves, changent de noms, laissent des familles derrière et se déplacent vers d'autres villes et pays, loin de leur domicile.

3. L'Immigration en Russie a atteint des proportions ahurissantes. Ce que les Russes ont remarqué avec une inquiétude c’est que, contrairement à 2014, lorsque les réfugiés des atrocités la junte de Kiev junte ont inondé la Russie, actuellement, le soi-disant « maidanutie » (ceux qui sont anti-russes, pro-Kiev-maidan) sont également en train de inonde pour éviter la mobilisation. Ils sont anti-russe, et pourtant, ils courent vers la Russie pour éviter d'être enrôlé pour l'anti-Donbass ATO.

4. Le plan du régime de Kiev était de mobiliser 50 000 habitants, et plus tard, un autre  150 000 en étapes. Jusqu'à présent, ils ne sont en mesure de remplir leur quota d'environ 25 à 27%, en raison du projet de la fuite. Les experts estiment que, bientôt, la réalisation de  l’appel sera que 10% du contingent.

5. Cette morbide mobilisation a été surnommé "mogilization" de Rus/Ukr/Slave ‘mogila’ - tombe. Il est devenu connu que L'armée de Kiev a acquis 80 hectares de terre pour enterrer ses ATO soldats. Cette information a été librement affichée et annoncée sur le site de l'armée et de toute des médias Ukrainiens. 80 hectares est assez pour enterrer 160 000 personnes. L'ensemble de la mobilisation est censé être de 200 000.

6. En dépit de ces nobles chiffres de mobilisation, même si une fraction s'est avéré être inaccessible. Les ukrainiens écrire dans les réseaux sociaux, qu'ils préfèrent aller en prison que de se présenter sous le drapeau - 3 ans d'emprisonnement pour avoir refusé la ‘mogilization.’ De conseillers et d'experts en Ukraine ouvertement conseille les gens de fuir, se cacher, ou, dans le pire des cas, d'aller en prison.

7. Selon les experts militaires, j'ai  écouté, le bâclée, manque de professionnalisme, pour ne pas dire stupide actions de l'Ukraine de l'armée atteste le fait que le vrai et commandants de l'armée professionnels ne veux pas atteindre la victoire dans le Donbass.  Des officiers de carrière ne veulent pas se battre, car leur cœur n'y est pas. Que pouvons-nous en parler si le ministre de la défense de Kiev est un policier. Ils ne pouvaient pas trouver un seul officier militaire pour ce poste.

Cela résonne directement avec l'un de mes premières 2014 prédictions que l'Ukraine de l'armée ne voulez pas combattre, de l'allégeance à la Russie, Soviétique/russe traditions militaires et d'affinité avec la Donbass cosaques servant une pause. La raison en est que ce n'est toujours qu'un seul peuple, une culture, qui a une histoire et il est très difficile de l'enlever malgré des années d'histoire falsifiée et Soros/ONG de la propagande. J'ai dit que l'armée Ukrainienne serait inefficace dans les mains de la ukro-régime nazi. La suite du grave manque de professionnalisme de l'ATO opération, la garde du régime Kiev en train  de perdre des "blockposts" et les villages à la Donbass auto-défense. La Donetsk, l'aéroport c'est les principaux gagné par l'auto-défense. L’armée Donbass peut également avancer sur Mariupol, Gorlovka et Slaviansk, à condition de Kiev continue de provoquer.

L'armée de Kiev perte de plusieurs centaines de personnes par jour depuis le début de leur offensive. Les pertes ratio est de 10 (Ukr armée de terre) à 1 (auto-défense).

8. Soldats Ukrainiens sabotage ATO: C'est ouvrir les yeux audio d'un forum de discussion sur internet par des personnes différentes dans le Donbass. Un homme appelle la milice ‘auto-défense’ pour signaler qu'un énorme obus vient d’atterrir devant de la porte d'entrée de son voisin, mais n'a pas explosé. Ils sont inquiets, il pourrait exploser à tout moment. Une spécialiste le confirme par l'image qu'il est, en effet, un obus d'un calibre spécifique, mais que la partie contenant le détonateur a été enlevé. C'est pourquoi il n'a pas explosé. Un autre homme se joint à confirmer qu'il y a des incidents de soldats de l'armée ukrainienne enlèvent de détonateurs et  tirent des blancs. Il y a aussi des incidents l'armée de griffonner des mots “en vous aident comme on peut” sur des obus désarmé atterri dans le Donbass. J'avais alerté à ce sujet l'année dernière - et nous y revoilà. Ce site, des Nouvelles du Front de (ex anna-news), est très bon, avec beaucoup de authentique mains sur les informations que vous ne trouverez nulle part ailleurs. Cependant, parce qu'ils sont si bons et donc dangereux, ils continuent à être supprimé et saboté par YouTube, de l'Ukraine et de leurs maîtres. Alors, regardez toutes les vidéos que je mets en lien à partir d'eux le plus vite possible, avant d'être supprimés plus tard.

9. À la fin de 2014, comme les gens se détendues pour célébrer la Nouvelle Année et Rozhdestvo, les États-Unis et l'OTAN ont envoyé des quantités massives de matériel militaire avancée à l'Ukraine.  Alarmé les messages sortissent quotidiennement que 4 grands aéroports, y compris de Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv et Zaporozhie avait été fermé pendant au moins une à deux semaines, alors qu'ils recevaient d'énormes quantités de matériel militaire des pays de l'OTAN. Au moins 2 navires - un en provenance d'Australie et l’autre du Canada - furent amarrés dans le port d'Odessa. Officiellement, ils ont apporté des uniformes d'hiver pour l'armée de l’ATO. Toutefois, la rumeur est qu'il y avait aussi des armes. Odessa rapporte également que des navires en provenance de France et US ont accosté avec des blindés, des véhicules de l'armée en cours de déchargement.

10. L'auto-défense Donbass vient de juste libéré de l'Aéroport de Donetsk, d'importance stratégique. Les troupes de Kiev troupes ont bombardé les paisibles citoyens de Donetsk de l'immense territoire de l'aéroport. Après l'aéroport a été pris, la légitime défense a découvert de nombreux des armes Américains, ainsi que beaucoup d’articles polonais. Certains des morts laissés ont été des Polonais (papiers d'identité en polonais, le port de plaques d'identité  polonais, vêtements, etc.) Un autre groupe de cadavres ont été identifiés en tant que musulmans, basés sur des détails anatomiques. Tout au long de 2014, Kiev n’a vanté que ses soldats à l’intérieur de l’aéroport comme «des courageux et invincible cyborgs.’ L'auto-défense pense maintenant qu'au moins certains des "cyborgs" étaient en fait des musulmans mercenaires qui sont restés derrière. Plusieurs jours avant, l'auto-défense, ont permis à chacun qui voulait partir avant l'attaque finale sur l'aéroport. Tous les Ukrainiens ont quitté sains et saufs. Il est intéressant, qu’avant de quitter, les Ukrainiens avaient brûlé tous les cadavres de leurs morts. Dans quel but? Pour éviter l'identification?
